Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Clinoble ("we", "us") operates clinoble.com, a telehealth platform providing medically supervised weight and metabolic health programs in India under the medical direction of licensed Registered Medical Practitioners (RMPs).

2. What you're paying for

Program fees cover doctor consultations, care planning and ongoing medical supervision only. Medication, if prescribed, is billed separately and directly to you by a licensed partner pharmacy at MRP. Clinoble and its doctors receive no percentage of medication sales.

3. No guarantee of prescription or outcome

  • Completing the eligibility quiz or purchasing a program does not entitle you to a prescription.
  • Treatment is prescribed only if clinically appropriate, at the sole discretion of the consulting doctor, who may decline or recommend alternatives.
  • Weight-loss outcomes vary by individual; published trial averages are not promises.

4. Eligibility & your responsibilities

  • You must be 18 or older and resident in India.
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete health information — inaccurate answers can make treatment unsafe.
  • You agree to attend scheduled follow-ups and report side effects promptly.

5. Cancellations & refunds

  • Monthly plans can be cancelled any time before the next billing date.
  • If the doctor determines on your first consultation that you are not a candidate, unused program fees are refunded in full.
  • Medication purchases are governed by the partner pharmacy's policies.

6. Liability & governing law

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at the company's registered office have exclusive jurisdiction. Grievance officer contact: grievance@clinoble.com (placeholder).

Privacy Policy — DPDP Act 2023

We process your personal data as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), on the basis of your explicit, informed consent collected before your eligibility result is shown.

1. Data we collect

  • Identity & contact: name, phone number.
  • Health data you provide: age, gender, height, weight, BMI, conditions, contraindication screening answers, consultation records and prescriptions.
  • Technical data: device and usage information needed to operate the service securely.

2. Why we process it

  • To screen eligibility and deliver doctor consultations and supervision.
  • To schedule consultations and send care-related communication.
  • To meet legal obligations, including 3-year retention of telemedicine records under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020.

3. What we never do

  • We never sell your personal data.
  • We never share health data with advertisers.
  • We share data only with your treating doctor, the partner pharmacy (to fulfil a prescription you've accepted), and processors bound by contract and confidentiality.

4. Your rights under the DPDP Act

  • Access a summary of your personal data and processing activities.
  • Correct, complete or update your data.
  • Request erasure, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g. 3-year medical record retention).
  • Nominate a person to exercise rights on your behalf.
  • Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

5. Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-restricted and logged. Medical records are retained for 3 years from the last consultation, after which they are deleted or anonymised unless law requires otherwise. Consent can be withdrawn at any time; withdrawal stops future processing but does not affect prior lawful processing.

Telemedicine Consent

By using Clinoble you consent to receive healthcare via telemedicine in accordance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 (Appendix 5, Indian Medical Council Regulations). Specifically, you acknowledge:

  • Consultations are conducted remotely by a Registered Medical Practitioner whose name and registration number are disclosed to you.
  • Your first prescription-related consultation will be a real-time video consultation; follow-ups may be asynchronous (chat/audio) where clinically suitable.
  • Telemedicine has limitations — no physical examination is possible — and the doctor may require an in-person visit or investigations before, or instead of, prescribing.
  • Prescriptions, where issued, follow the prescribed format including the RMP's registration number, and exclude drugs prohibited for remote prescribing.
  • Records of your teleconsultations (including chat logs and prescriptions) are maintained for 3 years.
  • You may withdraw consent and discontinue teleconsultation at any time; the doctor will advise safe discontinuation of any treatment.
  • Telemedicine is not suitable for emergencies. In an emergency, call 112 or visit the nearest hospital immediately.

Medical Disclaimer

  • Content on clinoble.com is for general education only and is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read here.
  • The eligibility quiz is a screening tool, not a diagnosis. Only the consulting doctor, after a video consultation, can determine whether treatment is appropriate for you.
  • Prescription treatment carries risks and side effects. Your doctor will discuss these with you before any prescription, and you should report adverse effects immediately.
  • Stated statistics (e.g. average weight reduction in clinical trials) describe study populations — individual results vary and no specific outcome is guaranteed.
  • Clinoble does not market or name specific prescription medicines to the public, consistent with Indian law on prescription-drug advertisement.
  • If you experience severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, allergic reaction, thoughts of self-harm, or any emergency — stop using this site and call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department.
